Incredible follow through in #ES_F. This morning I posted that traps of 7511 are actionable. 7511 was the overnight low. We swept it down to 7506, recovered, got long. I then gave the targets: 7530 (hit), 7560 (hit). 7560, 7578, 7590+ is next. Ride runner now all week
Nice little vol spike there in #ES_F and make sure you lock in profits very aggressively now. 7511 was support given in 4pm newsletter. Held exact overnight. I then posted watch traps of 7511. We just trapped it, ran to 7523. 7530, 7550, 7560, 7578 above still. Ride your runner

Beyond being a complete stud and arguably the greatest hedge fund manager to ever walk the planet, Simons was an absolute fountain of insight. Most people picture him as a pure math nerd who just sat around crunching numbers, but the reality is he was rugged, hard-nosed, and very much not a pushover. Another detail that often gets lost is that he enjoyed real success as a discretionary trader for a period far longer than most people remember. In fact, for years RenTec operated as a hybrid model, blending quantitative systems with discretionary judgment occasionally overriding the models outright when something didn’t smell right. It wasn’t all just magical Markov models lol, Simons was a good trader all around, despite his self deprecating demeanor about it.

Cut the IBB Short for +0.86R and flipped to Long when momentum started to shift (double-clicked on RTH Low to quickly setup the trade). Scale and High Probability targets hit. Open Risk = +1.08R (worst-case scenario is a profit of +1.08R) Stick to the plan and trade on Vulcan!
Balance break-downs require sustained downside momentum. Lack of momentum can turn it into a false/failed break-down (bullish). Day trading is an active sport. $ES_F
