When they asked why your colleagues turned off replies to avoid hearing from the people they claim to represent, you said nothing. Half of your Cabinet does not even allow replies. You talk of "meaningful debate" while building walls around yourselves. You speak of democracy while treating the public as a nuisance to be managed. You are not leaving because of abuse. You are leaving because you are losing. Because every time you post, thousands of people remind you of what you have done. Because the England you claim to serve has seen through you, and it loathes what it sees. Your whole party is loathed. Your whole establishment is loathed. You have disgraced this country in ways you will never understand because you are too busy thinking about yourselves. Me, me, me. Your career. Your image. Your comfort. We just say the truth. The truth you have been hiding. The truth about the girls you failed. The truth about the borders you opened. The truth about the lies you told. You have no spine. You have no integrity. You are full of hate for the people who see through you, full of lies about your own record, full of betrayal for every working-class voter who ever trusted your flag. Run to Instagram. Run to Facebook. Turn off your comments there too. Build your smaller, safer echo chamber where the only voices are the ones you approve. But know this: the public will follow. The public will find you. And the verdict will be the same.

Brooks had pointed out the pattern everyone can see. The thousands of closed cases. The fathers ignored at station doors. The files buried by councils more worried about "community cohesion" than raped children. And for that honesty, for that refusal to play the game, Salek tried to slap the usual label on him. So Brooks called him what he is. An arrogant leftie twat. He was right. He should not have to apologise for it. Salek is a Labour councillor who has built a small career out of appearing on right-leaning television to make sure difficult conversations never get too difficult. His job is simple. When the evidence is raised, he does not engage with it. He questions the motives. He implies that noticing who was doing it is the real extremism. He protects the narrative that the real scandal was never the gangs themselves, but the people crude enough to say it out loud. They will tell you white men do it too. As if we cannot tell the difference between crimes committed and crimes protected. Yes, white abusers exist. And when they are caught, they go to prison. The machine works for them. The police do not look away. The MPs do not stay silent. The establishment does not form a protective ring around them. That is the point. That is the entire point. The two-tier system. The deliberate blindness. The men who made it happen still have their jobs, their pensions, their platforms. Salek is not a serious commentator. He is the professional apologiser they wheel out to ensure no conversation becomes too honest. He is there to disinfect. He performs the same trick each time. The theatrical sigh. The patient smile. The suggestion that noticing reality is a symptom of moral failure. The girls were ignored for years because men like him made sure the conversation stayed polite. Now he sits in studios and tells the public that the real threat is still the people who want to talk about it. He is a coward who dresses his moral bankruptcy up as sophistication. A man who looked at industrial-scale child rape and decided his job was to manage the public reaction to it. A creature who built a career on the backs of broken girls by making sure nobody spoke too loudly about who broke them. A professional silence-keeper who takes his booking fee while the victims still scream. Keep playing the racism card, Sebastian. Everybody sees the hand. Everybody is bored of the performance. The conversation has moved on, and you are still shouting at an empty room wondering why nobody cares anymore. You are not the reasonable voice in the room. You are not the calm adult. It is easier to imply they are motivated by hatred than to consider that they might have material concerns I have not adequately covered in my newspaper, which is read by a shrinking audience of people over sixty who already agree with me. I am linking to a Daily Mirror article I commissioned, edited, and promoted, which required a photographer to stand outside Farage's house taking pictures through a hedge a thing we would call stalking if it happened to a Labour MP, but which we call 'public interest journalism' when it happens to someone we dislike. The article reveals that a man who worked in the City of London for twenty years owns property. This is presented as a scandal. I will not mention that my own newspaper's political editor earns more than most MPs, or that I have appeared on television panels for fees that would shock my readers, because this is not about consistency. It is about signaling to my audience that I am one of the good people who hates the bad people. The fact that this tweet will get 800 likes from people who already hate Farage, and 400 quote-tweets calling me a hypocrite from people who already hate me, is the perfect outcome. Engagement is engagement. My editor is happy. The ad impressions are counting. I have been doing this since 1997. I will be doing it in 2027. The targets will change. The formula will not."
