Israel assassinated Mohammad al-Wahidi, manager of Egypt’s Relief Committee in Gaza, shortly before Egypt’s World Cup match began. His committee had been organizing World Cup screenings for displaced families across Gaza. They were bringing people some joy. So Israel killed him.
