Through your donations and attention to our initiatives for Sudanese refugees, the team was able to: I. Provide 261 nutritious meals, to Seinar Oncology Hospital. Hospitals in Sudan do not provide food for patients, especially under today’s conditions; this may be the only meal some of these patients have, even as they are undergoing treatment for cancer. AND II. Decorate the children’s ward. Even and especially in the midst of war and illness, children need welcoming spaces that feel safe and meant for them. Our teams joyfully met this need today. 🟡 UPDATE: Protesters chant “Thieves, get out” in front of the US embassy in Kinshasa, DR Congo. Similar attacks happened on French and Rwandan embassies for their support of the M23 militia and the plunder of DRC resources.
