@Mikey_Alm It used to crash a lot before 4.0-ish. It has a really weird way of handling layers compared to any other visual art software, and needs a lot of personal configuration, but I really like its brush editor though.

@TheDarkDuchesss IME the process is more like: Find your most stable baseline and then gently but firmly press against your comfort level until eventually you've moved your baseline further along. It's painful as hell when you're on fire, but you might as well find the coolest room you can.

I think I might need to kill this Self off in order to move on. It's a difficult thing to do, because of what you feel might come after, but sometimes it's necessary. You just gotta rip the band-aid off, the anticipation is the worst part. The suffering is only temporary.

It's (relatively) easy to find friends at college because you're repetitively going to the same places which are populated by other people in your age group, it's harder when you're out in the world and now have to voluntarily explore places to meet people.

You overcome this by drastically reducing your expectations for your outcomes for each working session. Your brain is expecting a completed work for every amateur attempt, and upon failure, associates any effort with failure and pain. You need to want less to get more.
