@a30aew @F111Driver I can't find any details on the airfoil(s) but I'd suggest that since the thing is designed for safe low level aerobatics it will have S1-like higher lift and first stall on the top wing, and the raked tips for reducing tip stalls will push lift closer to the roots.

@a30aew @F111Driver Yep, maintaining the vertical components in the climb transition would have taken a lot of practice (at 5000' AGL😜). However it's all based on an equally practiced transition to a flare into a suitable LDA if/when that modded 500hr TBO engine stops in that attitude at 30' AGL !

@a30aew @F111Driver It's an S1 Pitts with a IO-540🤪with other mods. ROC would be about the same as an S2B - 2500fpm. paulbennetairshows.com.au/wolfpitts-pro It wouldn't have a power/weight ratio > 1, but he's found a stable power / drag / lift / weight mode that looks good on the track !
