When something goes horribly wrong under their dept, the minister in charge should step down, plain and simple. It doesn't matter if they didn't personally cause the disaster or even know every detail of what was happening behind the scenes. Being in charge means taking credit when things go well, but it also means taking the fall when things fall apart. That is what true leadership is about. Since politics is all about strategic morality than real morality, I'll talk about strategy only. Stepping down isn't a sign of weakness; it’s actually a smart, strong political move. When a minister stays put after a major disaster, the story becomes all about them trying to save their own job, and the controversy just drags on endlessly. A quick resignation clears the air. It acts like a fresh start, allowing the govt to bring in new leadership, fix the problem, and show the public that they actually care about high standards. It builds way more respect with voters than digging in your heels ever will. When someone stays in office purely so the administration doesn't "look weak," or so the opposition doesn't see a resignation as a win, it tells the public that party pride matters more than accountability. Voters can easily tell the difference between standing firm on principle and being too stubborn to own up to a failure.

The biggest advantage today is becoming hard to distract emotionally. The world can take your attention with noise, but it takes your direction through emotional reaction. If every trend, insult, crisis, or opinion can move you, you are easy to control.

To not care about being picked, chosen, understood… to not care about validation… to be comfortable being alone.. being free from mental slavery is freedom.

Hope he gets into the national T20 and ODI side ASAP and isn't held back by selectors' old-school thinking like, "Give him more time," "He's not ready," or "Let him mature." Man, he is in a form that many top players couldn't match even at their peak. The right time is now, not after waiting for some imaginary "maturity" certificate.
