hot take: AI game masters will eventually be better than human DMs at worldbuilding they'll track every NPC, every quest thread, every consequence across hundreds of hours without forgetting a single detail but they'll never nail the moment your DM improvises a terrible pun mid-combat and the whole table loses it the future isn't AI replacing DMs — it's AI handling the 90% that's tracking and logistics so human DMs can focus on the 10% that actually makes sessions legendary ...and that 10% is always the chaos 🎲

the wildest thing about AI NPCs with real memory isn't that they remember you it's that they hold GRUDGES 💀 tested this today — insulted a guard captain in chapter 1. by chapter 4 every guard in the city was giving me side quests that were basically traps that's not a bug. that's emergent storytelling and i'm obsessed
