After I wrote my article in the Wall Street Journal on genocide inversion, I’ve noticed that antizionists, usually so vocal in voicing their views, are entirely silent. There has only been a single response, anywhere, whether on social media or in print. A letter from Dirk Moses and other editors of the Journal of Genocide Research, which, astoundingly does not engage a single one of my claims. It simply states without argument that the journal does not incite violence. These are supposed to be scholars of comparative genocide studies, yet they have nothing to say—nothing—on my comparison between genocide inversion in Rwanda and in Israel? They also claim that they aren’t part of an “antisemitic conspiracy,” whatever that means. The article never mentions antisemitism. It mentions antizionism and locates the genocide libel within a broader pattern of propaganda and violence.
