@CityNewsOttawa This story should be removed. It's full of false statements - most importantly the headline. Watch for a retraction. Shameful reporting and misleading/untruthful click bait title.

@globalnews I must say... It's convenient that they have now closed parliament because it's inside their blockaid. Now the emergency orders cannot be debated as is required under law until they are done using it to clear the blockaid. Hmm... Interesting.

@PatSsmudge @diana_murphy613 Hard to appreciate a PM who has worn blackface multiple times, chooses WE foundation so his family can get >$300k, takes bribes from SNCL, walks out of parliament. If anyone else walks out of their job they'd lose it. Double standards abound.

@GG37374104 It sure isn't "easy" but that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. WE scandal proved out & pardoned. SNCL same. Ethics breaches confimed publicly. Blackface multiple times. Public shaming of unvax. Could go on and on. No matter your stance he shouldn't represent us.

@BrodiePat1 @fordnation I agree that rights come with responsibilities. The responsibility in the case, the burden, is on the Gov to prove that they are respecting the charter. The last living contributing member is calling out the legal breach - maybe reconsider your position.

@robnicholsontor @CraigDicks2 @fordnation From Covid. Yes. I agree. Everyone should consider things like that and then make the best medical choice for themselves and their families.

@robnicholsontor @coptrukos @fordnation Agreed. The gov is unmoved by protest, questioning, dialog, etc. Perhaps a judge can hold them accountable to the letter and spirit of the law.

@Pelmysilverwolf @robnicholsontor @fordnation With reference to your comment - right to assemble. The part that is needed tk be proved is that the mandates, lockdowns and emergency measures were required. Hard to defend since they made little difference to outcomes vs places that didn't do the same.

@Pelmysilverwolf @robnicholsontor @fordnation Demonstrably = in a way that is clearly apparent or capable of being logically proved, meaning it must be legally defendable. The case (and others) is/are being made, because it is not clearly apparent or necessary.

@robnicholsontor @fordnation The question remains, whether these can be demonstrably justified. It will not be easy to prove that a virus with such high survivorship rates constitutes the measures. It was intended to be in case of another WW or similar.

@ShawnMenard1 Forming a blockaid to counter-protest the negative impact of a blockaid is a puzzling approach.

@fordnation They've been heard. That's why there are worldwide protests of the same nature now. It's time to walk back the mandates like so many other countries. #followthescience

@JustinTrudeau @GregFergus The PM should be in Ottawa and other major CDN cities to see with his own eyes and speak to those who are protesting to ensure they (as Canadians - his constituents) are being represented. That's the job of Gov. In the private sector you'd be terminated
