It could be fueled by selfish gains but most of the time it's racism against mutants

@THEAnimeHERO I was just talking to my brother about 2V and the other day fighting game to anime adaptations like Darkstalkers and Virtual Fighter. 2V deserves a good remaster someday, its an underrated gem from my childhood

@Kairito10 I mean, that is one of the reasons why the X-Men were created in the first place. Every bigoted human in that world has the mindset of racist from the 1940s to 60s no matter how modern the setting gets and they also fear mutants being the majority. Just like how racists are today

I beat #TheLegendOfDragoon last night & what a game. The story had a few twists & turns I didn’t even manage to guess. I love the whole fight against fate thing as cliche as it can get I’m here for it. This game deserves a full fledged remake like Clair Obscur Expedition 33. ❤️

This is my FF tierlist based entirely on the Battle System / core mechanics (Gambits, Materia, Junction, etc.) Admittedly, if you would have asked me 2 years ago, I would have had FF8 much lower, but I have a new appreciation for it. FF12's Gambit system has been my favorite so far, and I'd love to see it in newer games that don't let us control party members. FF13 would probably be higher if the full mechanics were available from the start, and not unlocked and gatekept until later chapters. I love how creative you can get with Materia Combos in FF7. FF9 is fun because of the Auto-abilities, and Equipment-centric battle system. Allows for some really fun Level 1 playthroughs. There's not a lot of difference between 5 and 3, but 5 has the ATB and is just overall a more enjoyable game to me. FF15's combat was fine when i first played it, but after having played FF16 and FF7R, I realize it's missing a lot of basic / important features that make it unplayable to me now. FF12RW is basically just if FF7 made you play Fort Condor for every battle. No thanks. It has it's place, and I do enjoy an RTS here and there, it's just too slow paced for me. FF2 was always interesting to me as well. You can get proficient in a certain weapon type, then later if you find a cool weapon of another type, you can train that up as well. I feel like this game has the most untapped potential for challenge runs, that I hope to explore more someday. FF1 is fine. Very basic. The bugs in the NES version really held it back. Pixel Remaster is the best way to play IMO. FF4 to me is just a worse FF6. FF6 adds the summons and relic systems that really heighten the system.

@Punnyshment If they're really considering remaking these games then. FF9 should be remade by the people that worked the Trials and Visions of Mana games, that artstyle would fit FF9 imo

@Punnyshment Honestly if we were still in the PS360 era of consoles and gfx alot of these would be remade without the need to split em in parts. The need to make everything a big cinerecoup movie experience hurts these games budgets and hard for them to recoup the money sunk into it

If only Sony would do something with this game in the future
