We have to be real here, Playstation is not ready for an all digital future PSN is down and my disc drive can install games just fine 💽. They don't have the infrastructure to even support a only digital future Honestly investors need to questions these things 📉 $SONY

Sony’s push for ending physical game discs has nothing to do with “the future”🚀 ✅It is about ending second hand market ✅Raising prices on a whim ✅Creating a monopoly ✅Ending game ownership ✅Eventually likely tying you to subscribe ✅Making you buy the same game multiple times when license end and then they suddenly come up with a “remaster” So if you support cancelling physical games, you are active fighting against your own self interest, because the topic is far bigger than just nostalgia Don’t let every self-labeled donkey analyst try to convince you otherwise. They are either: A) Sony’s sock-puppets B) Don’t want to burn bridges with Sony for future opportunities NO DISC 💿 NO BUY

More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs: - They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc) - Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans - They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time. - Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company

Here’s what “Digital-Only Gaming” means🚀 ✅If your account is hacked/lost/suspended, you lose the games you paid for ✅If the PSN (or any service network) is down, you can’t access games you paid for ✅If you change your region, by their terms, you need to create a new account because they have no account region change or transfer, so you lose the games you paid for ✅If you don’t use your account for 36 months, you lose the games you paid for because Sony, by their terms, will take steps to close your account ✅If you aren’t connected to the internet, you cannot access the games you paid for ✅If a digital license expires or any falling out occurs between the digital storefront and the game’s studio/publisher, you will lose access to games you paid for (like they removed 500 movie purchases without compensation just 2 weeks ago) So if you consider this “the future” and “the evolution” cool, enjoy! Not everyone likes to be c**ked by corporations and scammed for their money, over things they bought and paid for. A video game you bought that can be taken away anytime, is no different nor less serious than a refrigerator, a piece of clothing, a car or a hairdryer that you bought, and somehow the manufacturer can switch off from their end without compensation. Reasons why we can't have a digital future for PS6, from a logical standpoint: - Sony security is bad, one of the biggest PS podcasters Colin Moriarty lost his account even with 2FA because someone contacted SONY support and changed his email from the backend (he got it back). - You don't own the games at all, unlike a disc with data on it, even non patched it works. - Prices digital in majority of places are way more expensive over physical (even with new releases) = Monopoly - Sony can take away the game share we have today, Nintendo did it from switch 1 to switch 2. No matter what, physical always needs to be an option. Movies, series and music STILL HAVE IT TODAY!
