A is for Activist is an ABC board book written and illustrated by Innosanto Nagara. This is a wonderful text to introduce to all families who want their children to grow up in a space that is passionate about activism and social justice for all.
The new site plan calls for 3 new buildings, 10 classrooms, 8 executive offices, a library, gross motor space, staff lounge and a family courtyard!

Yesterday, Friends Center for Children hosted a “Sneak Peak” for their soon-to- be 3rd early care and education center on Flint Street in New Haven. The new center, which was sold to Friends Center for Children last September, is the former home of the movie theater Cine 1-4.
