ya know, she's had a rep on fstwt for years for this, but the most recent numbers I remember were published at the end of 2024. 554 in 5 years with 197 in final 11 months suggests her rate of violations was increasing. anyone have newer values? I don't know the Russian language

There can be too much of a good thing. Professional athletes often end up with worse long-term health outcomes than non-professionals who regularly exercise and/or compete at lower levels. It doesn't excuse his coaching behaviors nor expectations, but I do get his point

Heck, even in high school swim team, it was common for all the girls to not get periods for the entire season from the training load. Strength sport athletes often lose a lot of weight very rapidly to change weight classes. The term "career-ending injury" is common across sports.

Hmmm. I think the issue here is only considering physically flopping on the ice as a flop in figure skating when there are flop methods everywhere if only you have the eyes to see them.
