Has anyone else noticed a big drop in mileage after switching to E20 petrol? I’ve been tracking my car’s fuel efficiency for the last 3 years, and something has definitely changed. Earlier, a full tank (around ₹4,000) used to give me around 450 km in real-world city driving. Since E20 petrol became common, I’m now getting only around 400 km on a full tank. I even tried premium petrol (with lower ethanol content), expecting better mileage, but there wasn’t any noticeable improvement. I understand traffic, driving style, weather, and AC usage can affect mileage, but a drop of 40–50 km per tank feels significant. This is just my personal observation, not a scientific conclusion. Sharing my personal experience with Angel One's referral program. I was an Angel One referral partner for around 2–3 years and referred more than 200 clients through my network. A few years ago, due to regulatory changes, Angel One informed all referral partners via email that the referral program was being discontinued. I understood the situation because it was presented as a regulatory requirement, and I accepted the decision. Recently, after the regulatory framework changed again, several brokers restarted their referral partner programs. When I came to know that Angel One had also started onboarding referral partners again, I reached out to my relationship manager. The response I received was that the company is onboarding new referral partners only and is not continuing or reinstating the earlier partners. Personally, I found this disappointing. After spending years building the business and referring 200+ clients, I expected existing partners to at least be given an opportunity to rejoin before onboarding new partners. Every company has the right to decide its business policy, and I respect that. But I also believe that long-term relationships and the contribution of existing partners should be valued. This is simply my personal experience, shared for others in the industry who work with referral partnerships. @AngelOne

Recently attended the launch event of the Abakkus Large & Mid Cap Fund at The Metropolitan Hotel, New Delhi, where I had the privilege of listening to Mr. Sunil Singhania Sir @SunilBSinghania The session covered topics like market outlook, corporate earnings, valuations, FII flows, and India's long-term growth story. I filled a few pages with notes because there was a lot to learn. One thought that stayed with me from the session was: "In today's market, you can't afford to make big mistakes." If your target return is 20–25%, a small mistake may still be manageable. But when you're expecting only 10–12% returns, even a small mistake can have a much bigger impact. It was a simple way to understand why decision-making and discipline matter, especially in different market environments.
