@InspGadgetBlogs Okay, we’ll use the extra 20,000 officers the Govt are providing 🤔 First they’ll need a high degree of vetting, then they’ll need basic training, then they’ll have to complete the NCALTS on what to do to protect MP’s. Do they want them to be armed? 😎🤔🙄

@pritipatel In the time it’s taken, how many have retired/resigned? What was the ‘total number’ prior to this 9,814 & what is the total now? Have you actually recruited twice as many but the others have just replaced those retiring so aren’t included in this number or is this just spin?

@DelphiEllis Bosses want the appearance of supporting wellbeing, but fail to realise that endurance is ‘suffering’ whilst resilience is ‘thriving’, if they accept staff are suffering they accept that they’re not doing enough to equip staff with tools to thrive

@NorthWestCop I have done the same on occasion, especially during winter evenings when it is miserable out. Humanity and compassion shown is credit banked if there is ever a need to speak to that person for a significant policing purpose in the future. They are the eyes and ears of the street

@aspinall_photo @PCKATIE There’s no requirement for blue lights when using an exemption under the road traffic act. There’s no stipulation on what you have to be heading to either.

The spread is exacerbated by people travelling and congregating. Where is the common sense in that? People who are selfish have shown a complete lack of common sense. Look in a mirror.

@Flaminhaystack No! Never leave, never shut up, never go away. We all, me included, need to learn more tolerance, listen more, be open to others views without invalidating their opinion. You matter, you count, you should never be made to feel like leaving, that would be everyone else’s failure

@colleenrattigan Is it wrong to correct her and tell her it’s actually ‘The Macallan’? I think we have to let some things go when people get older, just don’t tell the Scot’s, they get grumpy about the mispronunciation 🙄🤷🏼‍♂️

@DanaNawzar How is it disproportionate to use potentially lethal force against potentially lethal force? Unless your suggesting the suspect had removed all threats from their person and laid down on the floor in a completely submissive position in order for the police to arrest them?
