Why Pilots go around even though they are seconds away from landing
POV: You’re the pilot coming in to land on an aircraft carrier. 🛬 There’s no long runway ahead of you just a moving deck surrounded by ocean. One moment you’re airborne, the next the aircraft slams onto the deck and the arresting gear brings you to a stop. Then it’s straight into taxiing on a runway that’s literally moving beneath you.
