@fnf2017 A buddy of mine (10.2 HI) and myself (7.7 HI) have played this format a few times this year at our club’s golf association events. We’ve posted anywhere from 68 to 75.

@MMGOLFSTUDIOS I’m considering lesson right now. I’m stuck at an avg score between 80-82. I travel a lot for work and practice time can be limited. I’m not certain the ROI on lessons is there for me because of creating the practice time to drill the lesson work.

@ryanmouquegolf Absolutely saw those interviews. I’m struggling to overcome it once I lose 1 and get way too hard on myself. My practice session and 9 hole walk since sunday has been better. My focus is on preshot routine, pick my target, appropriate practice swing and accept the result.

@GolfTravelerJoe @mikemad75 @GolfBayonetatPC I was a member there for a couple of years. They’ve installed new greens in the last couple years. It has always been amazing!

@unboxedking Every dang round right now. 2 doubles out of no where leading rounds just over 80. Driving me crazy, goal for me is braking 80 on a par 72. I don’t have time to dedicate to getting much better than that these days. It just keeps you coming back!

@MidwestGolfJake Quit playing for a while after college, really picked it back up in 2021. Played some, then joined a local club, got down to a 4 index. Course was pretty easy though. Changed clubs ballooned to a 9 and changed and am currently working to get it back down. Good luck, keep grinding

@trekeitheon Love this play. I have a G430 turned down from 18 to 17. Then I move to a G430 3H set at 20, 4U Srixon, 5-PW, 50 (51), 56 and Putter. I’ve ditched the 3wd and 60 LW both in the last year. Play 13 clubs and my index has come down 2 strokes so far this year. Keep doing it!

Back in May some friends and I went to the NC mountains and played Land Harbor Golf Club in Linville, NC. Really cool mountain golf course and very solid test of ball striking. Hoping to get to it again later in the summer when the greens are really moving.

Had the opportunity to play Black Creek in Chattanooga, TN a few weeks back. It was about to host US Women’s AM qualifying and it was a proper test. Really enjoyed the course and will hopefully get to play it again.
