Air Canada to operate new A321XLR to United States: • Montreal (YUL) to Los Angeles (LAX) up to 12 weekly from October 25 • Toronto (YYZ) to Los Angeles (LAX) 7 weekly from December 15 • Montreal (YUL) to Miami (MIA) December 18, 25
FedEx pilots have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, with 83 percent voting in favor and 98.5 percent of eligible pilots participating in the vote. The agreement, reported by the FedEx Master Executive Council represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), concludes a nearly five-year negotiation process that included both direct negotiations and mediation under the National Mediation Board. The contract addresses multiple areas of the pilot agreement, including compensation, retirement, scheduling, work rules, and job protections. It takes effect June 29, 2026, and becomes amendable in December 2030. "This ratification concludes a nearly five-year negotiation process and reflects the collective decision of the pilot group," said Capt. Jose M. Nieves, chair of the FedEx ALPA MEC. "FedEx pilots remained engaged throughout negotiations and participated extensively during the review and voting process." Nieves added that the focus now turns to implementation and enforcement of the agreement.
