Look, it could end up being the case that all of his white friends are part of some big cover-up and are very guilty of Nolan’s demise, but the anxiousness and amount of energy black “leaders” put into correcting perceived white misbehavior is disgusting. Let’s assume their foul play/guilt: functionally speaking, you are just helping white people clean up violent offenders from their communities, but never putting a tenth of this effort into convicting violent black folks who take far more black lives. I’ve always said this about the civil rights establishment. They force white communities to morally refine even the smallest moral details of their lives, while making every social excuse in the book to keep the worst type of black person in our streets. They are a big driver in enabling violent crime disparities between blacks and whites — but they don’t care about this, as long as they can relive the politics of triumph, as if this is the 40s, and verbally check whites in the public eye.
