Flemington Tomorrow Race 5 #11 Robrick - 0.3 units @ $17.20 BoomBet Good against the pattern first up, goes best early in the prep and has strong performances at 1400 when drawn to take up a position as he does tomorrow. POP AWARD & GERRINGONG suspect at the trip, WARNIE overhyped, TRANSATLANTIC want to look for deeper in the prep, CAFE MILLENIUM & ATHANTOS no knock but have to go back. WONDER BOY the other runner I’m interested in but will wait until closer to the jump.

Backing 2 to beat LAZZURA in Race 9 tomorrow. She looks very smart but looks short enough coming off a heavy deck first up and her best performances have typically been on wet decks. Main bet is ABOUNDING, could argue she should have won last start and the 2 horses that beat are being touted as G1 mares. Didn’t get many kind barriers and suitable race shapes last prep but that’s exactly what she’ll get here and if she improves at all from first up she’s a huge chance. The other bet is JENNI THE FOX at huge odds. Huge run against the pattern at MV first up over well short of her best and I’m forgiving last start, could have been a bit of a flat one second up. She was also strangled out the gates. She can sit closer here and if she can get anywhere near her peak performance behind Treasure Themoment, $71 is a huge price & you’ll probably get bigger on the day if you want to wait. OH TOO GOOD is the one that’s far too short and creating some betting opportunities. Also marked ON DISPLAY a couple rungs longer than the market as everything worked out last she got a hot tempo the field string out and she was just better than them, not sure she’ll get the same runs Saturday. #6 Abounding - 0.5 units @ $10 bet365 #14 Jenni The Fox - 0.1 units win @ $71 & 0.3 units place @ $14 bet365

We’ll back it up again in Race 2 #2 Tycoon Star - 1.75 units @ $3 bet365 Strong early and still strongest late last start. Feels pretty bombproof now he can land up on speed and he also has a previous win up the straight. MCGAW chance to be flat off the tough run first up and is probably unsuited stepping back in distance. LEGACY BOUND has to step up again and go to another level to win, not saying he can’t but he’s already being priced like he will.

We’re kicking off bright and early at Flemington Saturday Race 1 #10 She’s An Artist - 2 units @ $2.70 bet365 $1.30 SP in the Creswick, where she did ultimately underperform compared to market expectation but taking emotion out of it she was a great run in what were slightly inferior lanes. She rocks up here in a bm78 a much bigger price. A strong 78 sure but there’s no Bridal Waltz’s here. If you believe she’s even half as good as that SP indicates she’s a bet. Hopefully she’s ready to roll first up.

Sandown Hillside Tomorrow Race 8 #9 He’ll Rip - 0.75 units @ $5.50 Ladbrokes He’s well and truely due for a win but finds the weakest races he’s ran in for some time and looks a slow tempo which should suit his sharp turn of foot.

Sandown Hillside Tomorrow Race 4 SALUTED looks far too short for mine off her runs to date, she also meet them all very poorly at the weights only just having turned 3. VISUAL has trialled well for the new camp but also look short, time wasn’t flash on debut, I literally think she’s this short solely because Aeliana also debuting in that race over a very unsuitable trip of 1000m. DELICATE LADY looks the obvious to me. $2 SP v Princess Que 2 starts back where she was unsuited stretching to 1200 and was understandably weak late. Last Start she was forced to go back to last and Bendigo and ran the fastest last 800, 600 & 400 of the day. Looks the nose established runner to me. Of the others ROOM FOR BINGO also looks a big price off 2 strong performances so far this prep & a win over Jennyanydots last prep. #7 Delicate Lady - 0.6 units @ $9 Ladbrokes #5 Room For Bingo - 0.25 units @ $21 bet365

I’m a believer of the ESHA hype. Never seen this pressure or tempo but she just seems to settle and travel with ease. Don’t know if I could take the current price given the unknowns but thankfully holding a futures ticket. Will either make or break her, fingers crossed we see something special 🤞

Group 1 Moir Stakes #10 Arabian Summer going to get the dream run saving ground in behind the speed, will just need a run at the right time 0.3 units @ $16 bet365 & #9 Oak Hill best of the swoopers if they overdo it up don’t. Started favourite v Baraqiel last start and had no luck there. 0.3 units @ BSP

Moonee Valley Saturday Race 7 #10 Southern Heiress 2 starts back at Canterbury she had the fastest L200 of the day and clocked a faster time than Estremo off a slower tempo. That horse then went of to run well at MV 2 weeks back and is currently $6 in the Listed Mackenzie Stakes a race earlier. Forging last start, even those the last 2 start have the same official track rating (heavy 8), track speed rating was a 9.7 (extremely heavy) where as the previous start was only a soft 6. Pricing her on that performance 2 starts back she would be favourite and she’s likely to get a prefect run 1 out 1 back here. Only concern is last start may have flattened her and she is now 4th up first preparation. Still worth spec at the price for mine. 0.5 units @ $9 Betright

I personally think sustained speed is his best asset, and his best chance of winning would be to have full momentum up coming into the turn. What I think they should do, isn’t always what the stable wants to do but he’s at peak fitness and the Hayes boys are pretty tactically switched on so I don’t think they’ll make it a walk or stack em up and give others with better turns of foot a chance. That’s not to say he can’t win either, if the decks real firm and he doesn’t skip away to a nice lead on the home turn he’ll be hard to run down. Just think the price of Planet Red is longer than it should be because it was a bit of a plain performance LS but I think he’ll get the right conditions to improve here.

Moonee Valley Saturday Race 6 #6 Planet Red Last start at Sandown just turned into a 400m dash off a slow tempo which I don’t think suited him at all. Just go back and watch how electric he was sitting off a hot tempo on debut, made Observer look like he was standing still. I think BACASH goes handle bars down here and tries to run them off their legs which should set it up perfectly for PLANET RED parked in behind. SPACE RIDER just had the perfect run LS that just made it impossible for anything to run it down. ESTREMO was good late there but will likely get back again and have a lot of work to do. 0.5 units @ $8.40 BoomBet

Only 1 early bet for Sandown Hillside Today Race 4 #7 El Tercero - 0.75 units @ $6.50 bet365 1000m fresh suits, dynamic on debut over the distance and has improved with race experience since. SPs from last prep are strong against tougher opposition and I can pick holes in all of his competition here. Mallettier lame last start now back to 1000 - bit of an interrupted prep, Barbaric Lad has never ran over shorter than 1200, Trapeze Warrior is always fairly overrated in my opinion his ability doesn’t match his SPs & Gitalong has failed poorly last 2. Give me the fresh horse on the scene with plenty of upside and a cushy map.

Caulfield Review Tough day to be making wide swooping runs but not impossible to make ground if tempo was very strong. Only 2 runners that really made ground, ON DISPLAY (very fast tempo) and MAGIC TIME (too f*n good). I think I want to be careful following anything out of the Memsie running in 2 weeks, seemed a gut buster for those first up. Horses to Follow: R2 - On Display R4 - Middle Earth R5 - Statuario R7 - See You In Heaven & Feroce R10 - Cote Atlantique
