To celebrate the start of summer, our Job Coaches took our interns to Herne Bay! It was a day for relaxing, fun and celebration. Also, Rob wore a menu as a hat, and it was not Marketing forcing him! A massive well done to this year's cohort!
If you're neurodivergent, you are more likely to feel loneliness. One possible solution? – Finding employment through Supported Internships. Supported Internships can give you a sense of belonging and purpose as you become part of a workplace team and work towards a career.
As part of Amazon’s community work, our Supported Interns were invited to help create a garden area for the Maidstone Mental Health Department, in partnership with Health Heart Hope! Our interns got stuck in with planting flowers, plants and trees!
We were honoured to have the @MayorofDartford in attendance, who praised the Supported Internship programme and highlighted the importance of giving young people with SEND the training and opportunities they deserve. A huge well done to all our graduates! 🙌

As part of their Education Days, our Supported Interns learn how to be a responsible adult. It was a privilege to have Gemma from @UKLearningShop at Bluewater give interview techniques and CV writing tips so our interns are more prepared for the world of work.
WE RAISED £1,003! The final count from our fundraising for @ellenorcharity took place and we're proud to share that we raised an incredible £1003.40! A huge thank you to anyone who attended our Afternoon Gala, donated and shared our posts!

When Liam started his Supported Internship with Food2Eat at Bradfields Academy, confidence was a big challenge. With support from his Job Coach Katie and the team, he’s grown in self-belief and is now taking on new challenges. We’re so proud of his progress!
We held our first ever Afternoon Gala to raise money for @ellenorcharity, and it was fantastic! It was a fun-filled day, with classic cars on show, stalls and food outlets, and a range of attractions for all the family (including bumper cars, axe throwing and bouncy castles).
Riley, a pre-intern based at @MedequipUK, was given a mascot teddy, which was put in his pocket and put to work alongside him! We work with wonderful businesses that embrace humour and fun in the workday, helping our interns feel at ease in their placements. #Humour #Celebrate
