My Response - #1 The legal framework would need to retain rights of the owner, but also the rights of new creations by sub-creators. Such as new characters. Otherwise, it becomes intellectual property (IP) theft, or would be viewed/felt as such. - I would alter #3 "Content Moderation" to be more lax as far as fitting into original theming/character, otherwise it would be too large of a hinderance to creativity and content creation. But, I do agree some moderation would be required. Especially in regards to sexual/violent content. This would NOT be for the current fanfiction market. That market is fringe, by necessity for this to work, it needs to attempt to serve a larger/wider audience. That larger audience isn't interested in a platform with the grotesque themes of horror/sexuality/violence that populates half of fanfiction. - I would add to #5 to include attracting readers, as they're essential to the mix as well. I've done a fair share of research into this and believe I have a mix of ideas that may be the best shot for this kind of idea succeeding. A problem is also the marketing. "Fanfiction" isn't a word or audience you would want to necessarily cater to. It's also a problem that is larger than what a single person can tackle. Unfortunately, while I would love for nothing better than to bring my ideas to life on my own, it isn't possible. The challenge of such a solution requires multiple disciplines of expertise. Ultimately, I believe this is something that will come about NOT because of entrepreneurship, but rather from the love of a community.
