On my last days working with Unity I was exploring a lot of things using Compute Shaders. One of them was this mesh blend technique that transfers normals and positions from the ground to the mesh based on proximity or the vertices. It was taking 30 seconds on the CPU! #unity3d

Here's the interactive waterfall shader with some foam and vertex offset bulge. The r channel of the render texture is the negative space, the g channel is the foam + bulge. I put some velocity inheritance on the foam particles too, which I think looks nice.
