Last night at work a bunch of the baby nurses (22-24 years old) learned I am a bit more of an adventure than they assumed. The single best part was their faces when they learned their assumptions were WRONG. Examples may follow.

@NYCEMSwatch This was always the rule at my service. No ROSC no transport. "You are not a hearse. You should not be transporting a dead body." There have been studies that CPR is less effective while transporting so you decrease meaningful survival. Get ROSC or call it.

Quarantine Log-Day 20: Working around the house. Kids are getting very fiesty about not seeing grandparents and cousins. Making cloth masks in anticipation of the coming orders.

Quarantine Log-Day 19: Just got word we will be issued one surgical mask to wear day in and day out at work. Those surgical masks that actually do nothing once moist from our breath. We can only take it off to put on our CAPR. Because that is going to keep us safe.

Quarantine Log-Day 17: After the experienced nurses insisted that it would take too long to put on PPE we did time trials. I won with 11.8s. I hope to improve that time.
