@ArdentJulius @VigilantFox No, the problem is they didn't defund the IRS enough, because they shouldn't have the resources to go after the mom-and-pops either.

@duncanrmorrison @allie__voss If it were happening in real life, that would be the case, but within the scope of the fairy tale it is not. It's another version of "what is Aragorn's tax policy?"

@ourtinyuniverse @lizisamused Okay, I think I understand what you mean. It makes sense then that you could have an approach to sex that makes retroactive rescinding of consent very unlikely, but the strategy is not directly driven by that fear.

@ourtinyuniverse @lizisamused I don't follow. The question is about whether men are concerned about a woman consenting in the moment and then deciding she didn't later. I'm sure there are men who don't ever think about this (who sometimes get in trouble for it). How does an urge to inseminate enter into it?

@ourtinyuniverse @lizisamused This reminds me of this tweet. I would say if a man is consciously following a strategy to avoid it, then he should vote yes, even if in practice his strategy mitigates the worry.

@doctor_rahmeh @AbuHafsaMic @grok The fact that you think it's good proves that you, personally, are unfit to live among civilized people.

@JulieBorowski @moonbrahhh Honestly, I haven't thought about you in at least a decade, and this post just happened to show up on my feed. You saying something obviously true, and a dude assuming because you're a woman, you must mean the opposite and making a fool of himself. Same as it ever was.

@XenniallTeach @allie__voss It doesn't *necessarily* mean that, but it's a possibility. Not everyone woman who does it does it for the same reasons.

@Nobleshield Chesterton's Fence though. If you think a rule is stupid, you should try playing with it a few times to see if it works better than you expected. After that, feel free to make changes.

@jacktronprime That's because, in general, boomers *are* gullible like that. Observing them on Facebook quickly confirms this. They can be as offended as they like, but facts don't care about their feelings.

@Diamond_Dust6 @BobMurphyEcon Yeah, as a parent, it's my duty to put the interests of my own children ahead of others if necessary.

@BWWings I had a bad experience and wanted to contact you about it, but the "reach out" link on the site doesn't work and I didn't get a response to my email. Does anyone there care about customer experience?

@RealAngelaMc Agreed, but you have to get the right cornmeal for it. Mass-market meal is made from unripened corn, so it doesn't have enough natural sugar. Ripe corn is sweet enough by itself.

@mdusahk @BuenoForMiami Everyone picks and chooses which laws to follow. You might choose to follow all of them, but that is still your choice, and you alone are responsible for it. "I was just following the law" is not an excuse.

@Schnubberschnup @LPMisesCaucus @guychristensen_ @ComicDaveSmith Not one of those things is based on "just people looking out for one another," and every one of them is based on bullies stealing from people.

@KatzCarmen2022 @IhabHassane Interesting that your reason is because he was wearing the wrong outfit and not "no religious Jew would ever club an old woman on the head." Of course, he could simply not be religious.
