@Brett_A_Taylor The whole value of war is that it can show you a player’s value that is not represented by normal counting stats. To say “well war doesn’t look like it matches up with normal counting stats” isn’t a flaw it’s the whole point

@Abe_OGBullsFan Smith was good for us, but with Matas and Caleb as forwards, Smith is more redundant since I think he’s better as a 4 than at center. I’d understand if they trade him

@cbefred Mid range is for late in the shot clock if you can’t get another shot off. It’s nice to have in the bag but it should never be the “goal” of an offense

@Doug_Thonus I completely agree with your note on messaging in the podcast. Very strange to not be pumping up Matas and Giddey. They’re your two best players right now and even if you want to move on from them down the line there’s no reason not to pump them up

@CamCundiff @SBN_Ricky Haha so many podcasters make this same jones/young flub. Agreed that more than 25 is super tempting. I guess my worry would be that you’re banking on health of Norman Powell and Giddey and jones. Losing any of them is a huge blow. Don’t have faith in Rob being a plus player yet

@SBN_Ricky The thing with the nets is that someone in the east has to be bad. So many teams trying but not all will succeed. Agree on wizards though. My favorite under is the heat, Giannis just had a comparable supporting cast and they stunk

@SBN_Ricky My bigger concern than the missed shots is that he looks like a minus athlete out there. Not much burst or leaping so ends up playing smaller than his height. Doesn’t pop even as much as Sellers. Idk how he tested but functionally the athleticism doesn’t show.

@SadeekCreates It’s also extra impressive because the rest of the team cannot create open shots for him. So he’s forced to manufacture offense all by himself. Imagine him playing off Giddey, Matas etc.
