@Ole_Skool66 Michael, No I never heard of it. In 1973 I spent all day showing Gene and his wife Majel holograms, teaching them all about them, and explaining how a holodeck would work based on solid science (but Gene came up with the name "Holodeck" based on his Navy experiences).
