"Associate membership" isn't a thing, so far it's a made up title with no meaning or detail. Quote from the EU: "Under Article 49 of the Treaty on European Union (TEU), full membership is legally restricted strictly to European states." For all we know, the press don't know (see last CBC article on it), it could be the regulations, very probably fees (EU membership is Billions a year). Total lack of transparency again.

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (San Juan, Puerto Rico - SJU): Transferred to private consortium Aerostar Airport Holdings under a 40-year lease in 2013. Shortly following the deal, airlines faced structured increases in landing and passenger terminal charges, and parking rates increased significantly. Stewart International Airport (New York - SWF): Leased to private operator National Express in 1999. Landing fees and tenant charges increased, but passenger traffic declined, leading National Express to sell the remaining lease back to the public Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 2007.

@MelissaLMRogers This is crazy. Ottowa recieves ~$525 Million a year from the airports. The top 4 generate $4.28 Billion in revenue and $40+ billions to GDP. You do not sell off public assets. No other western country would ever let private investment. This guy is selling off Canada.

It gets worse: Provincial Revenue Inflow in B.C. brought in $887 million more in income tax revenue (personal and corporate taxes). Inflation causing more taxes via PST ($169 million). Inflation in oil prices from the war ($82 million). If these things hadn't happened, we'd be even more in deficit.

Your image is off, the open Duo should be 168.2mm and the Max 163.4mm. And you have 117.8mm height, that's a full YouTube video full screen, the Max will be a letterbox as it's 78mm high (the Duo is 44% larger screen). And then if you are into productivity looking at emails, or charts, or docs... the Duo is way more real estate.

@andrewjclare I love that Apple have come out with a fold. It'll sell well. And I love it has pencil support (Samsung removed theirs). "innovate"? Sorry no. They even copied Microsoft's Duo name. And Samsung make the screen/NAND/flash/etc - Samsung will love this device to sell well.

@jmwilt21 Those 48MP cameras are not "moderate". All you are really missing is the optical zoom camera, you do have 48MP to zoom in with though. Depends on how much you desire or use optical zoom, how often do you take photos at more than 4x zoom?

I got the Samsung fold 8, same thing. Boils down to ultra-convenience, its with me all the time. My iPad Pro has been in a drawer the past month. The camera is still excellent. I have it at my desk, at the gym, say on the couch, out at a cafe or in the park, everywhere. Can check email in a big client window, media is huge, stock charts on a full screen, etc.
