@RevEdmonson @14thstreetblues We want to turn the GOP into something similar to the one nation conservative tradition of the UK. We are just a bit more left wing on economics then you tend to find on the 'right wing'

We are strong supporters of Israel. As the only Democracy in the middle east they are valuable to stability in the region.

Even the DSA, an "anti-capitalist organization" at best supports worker cooperatives. Most of the time however they actually support tax and spend liberalism. It's the aesthetic of socialism without actually being socialist.

The current political paradigm doesn't really work. The old school left was anti-immigration and wasn't super big on environmentalism because it hurt jobs and hurt the unions. This is more of a right-wing concept now because all anyone votes on anymore is social issues

Most conservatives are a part of the old-school conservative tradition. Most of them, if given the choice, wouldn't have followed the Friedman style of politics but we respect hierarchy so when it came from the top down we followed. This has only led to social instability.

He could have made himself out to be a champion of the working class and have the policies to back it. Instead, he shoved his foot in his mouth and let the Mitch McConnell wing of the party do whatever they wanted. Trump was another standard awful Republican.

The Democratic Party's incompetence is truly astonishing. They literally have some policies that have 80%+ support and squander it with policies that have 20% support. Then on top of that, they don't show up to vote, lose, and then complain about Republicans blocking their agenda

The Republican leadership has been a massive disappointment. Instead of supporting the working class and passing popular policy that would help us stay relevant into the future as demographics change they've embraced the grift. Hopefully, we can change that.

GOP leadership has been trying to rebrand their party into a "working-class party." It's a bad joke. Republicans have sponsored anti-worker "right to work" legislation, fought against increasing the minimum wage, and given tax breaks to corporations. With friends like these...
