The Community Service Club, successfully donated five computers to Colombian students in need. The five recipients were recognized by the Colombian government for their academic excellence. These computers will aid the students as they continue their university studies.

Introducing this trimester's latest ASP addition: Seaside Discovery! Children from kindergarten to second grade have delved into an immersive coastal conservation curriculum. They've explored the vast wonders of the ocean and its inhabitants.

Mrs. Tkac’s seventh-grade history class researched the fascinating history behind political symbols and also got creative by designing their own political emblems. Some students even crafted symbols as if they were gearing up for a future presidential run at 35!

Congratulations to our Boys Lacrosse team on winning the league championships! Their hard work throughout the season has truly paid off. The Gulf Stream Boys Lacrosse team remains undefeated in championship games for the second consecutive year!

Last Friday our seventh graders had the opportunity to work with the HERD Foundation and participate in their Equine-Assisted Learning Program (EAL) which is designed to foster social skills and leadership.

Last week, our 5th graders embarked on an unforgettable journey to the Marine Lab Environmental Education Center! They delved into the worlds of seagrass, mangrove, and coral reef ecology, immersing themselves in hands-on learning experiences beyond the confines of the classroom.

The members of our National Junior Honor Society completed their service project at the Gulf Stream School Delray Beach Campus last week. Engaging in a campus beautification project, our students replanted and enhanced the Bell Garden.

Recently, the 5th grade took a field trip to the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. The Wetlands are a man-made habitat where over 100 bird species have been spotted. The students explored the wetlands and took time to identify wood storks, white egrets, herons, and moorhens.

Our 8th graders took part in Valentine's Day festivities with a Monster Speed Dating activity! The students received a monster with a variety of genetic traits, and then they crossed their monsters' traits and completed Punnett squares to predict the traits of their offspring.

On Sunday, February 4, Gulf Stream School hosted the Palm Beach County MATHCOUNTS Competition. The competition was organized by volunteers from the Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Engineering Society. About 100 students from 10 schools participated.
