@TwoRulesOfWar What was worse, for me, was first 3-4 weeks of Covid lockdown. It was like 2-3 traumas a night and it was all 40-60 yr dudes drunkenly fixing their roof at 12-4 am. Totally bizarre like a weird B movie plot.

Discussion about AC should be thrown in the trash if anyone was literate about history. The battle of the Alamo and all of the fighting in Texas occurred in Texas, with people wearing wool felt uniforms. Much of the fighting in the war of 1812 occurred in the south. And Louisiana. The civil war: no further notes. People wearing outrageously hot outfits fighting wars outside in the sun when people are saying human beings can’t survive.

@EODHappyCaptain I’ve been without AC many times in the army. Humans can live without it. Things that make it tough: gear, vehicles, constructed buildings. Things that make it better: shade, water (frozen if possible), movement of air (wind, fans, whatever you can improvise).

@TwoRulesOfWar @coffee_oil @TheBuddyCSM I lost money every time I put on the uniform in the reserves. That’s why I think people misunderstand, the people who are there are in it for love of the game. Talk about weekend warriors all you want but at least in medical there’s no benefit greater than the experience.
