It's not time to panic for England fans. Only 3 of the 18 World Cup winners ever have won all 3 group games. Brazil 70, France 98, Brazil 02. It's a rarity to win every single game against defiant opposition. England have only won all 3 group games once, way back in 1982. A draw v Ghana will just enable an early learning curve for the Three Lions, and particularly for gaffer Thomas Tuchel. 🦁

Last night was class and huge credit to Tuchel and the team. But for any fans trying to use last night to belittle Southgate, just a reminder England scored six goals in one game in both of Gareth's world cups.

We've all I imagine questioned the continued selection of Jordan Henderson for England at various points over the last couple of years... Me personally? I love Henderson, but I personally wanted Wharton to go. I thought his forward-thinking, brave passing would have been a real asset off the bench. But then you hear Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers, two young stars with the world at their feet, calling Jordan Henderson "probably the best person they've ever come across in football." How could Tuchel not take a character like that? Shout-out Hendo, what a man!
