I don't think I am alone when I say that many people are waiting to load up with spot positions at the moment. Historically, $BTC should bottom around October this year, and this time around it feels like everyone is trying to time the market. Recently we've had a lot of news about Saylor selling, but even that won't move the price downwards anymore. Also, the Clarity Act doesn't seem very likely to be approved this year, so we still have to wait for that one. The Clarity Act should be bullish for big assets like BTC and ETH, and should help with momentum (all boats will be lifted by the tide). August and September are historically the worst months for $BTC, and if we get a bigger flush, then this dip is probably worth buying for good alts (I have my list in the pinned, but HYPE, LIT, ZEC, PUMP++ are some of them). Almost all altcoins trend down long-term, your job during the next months is to try to allocate into the ones that hopefully don't. As @0xMerp said: "You should strive to own tokens that have a reason to exist".

I remember back in 2020 when stocks soared to new highs as the business cycle turned while BTC and ETH lagged as most called it over for crypto before they caught up and produced loads of regretful investors. Boy do things sure look like they’re about to go much higher.

the thing that i love about this moment, or at least find comforting is that there are throngs of people out there (as evidenced by my comment section that clowns me whenever i talk about slowly rotating stock index or dry powder into BTC) that claim it's somewhere between 'unlikely' to 'genuinely impossible' that that bottom could be in they don't think the Saylor Gap, the 15k btc plummet on him selling 32 btc (as his ponzi-adjacent AI slop products depegged) could possibly be analogous to FTX in terms of a culminative late bear washout, leading to an environment of low-grade fear mixed with apathy they don't look at economic growth / employment and other metrics and think peak hawkishness may be priced in they don't care that EA vampires getting liquidated for tens of billions means anything they don't care about projected multi-year bottlenecks keeping our current equities bubble sustainable or crypto exchanges closing, alongside other horrific events the past two months, and witnessing that nothing budged price down more than 1-2% at most this is the sort of "peak bearish at the bottom, peak bullish at the top, displayed with delusional confidence" i want to see to ramp up rotating cash/cash-equivs or index money into BTC tbh

agree with @blknoiz06 think the market is forming stage 3 cycle bottoms, which by nature are very choppy and take time. people will get chopped up because every 5% move up feels like we’re going 10x, and every 5% move down feels like we’re going to zero.

for all yall asking "when bull market?" here's my take: 3 to 6 months. the lows are ALREADY in. what's left is the boring sideways chop where nobody agrees on anything this is the window. by the time everybody agrees it's a bull market, the discounts are gone

very healthy price action on majors, $BTC & $ETH now catching up to solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 everyone was extremely bearish going into the lows two weeks ago & believe most on CT did not buy the bottom, ironically enough believe it was tradfi cash heavy buyers stepping in to scoop coins at yearly discounts CT heavily indexes on 4 year cycle timing & expected lows in Q4 of this year, believe smart money saw discounts + fear around Saylor situation while AI names were up a ton & started bidding Q3 will be very important for determining momentum going into the end of the year, a lot of people will chase if price action continues to be constructive even onchain showing signs of life, and institutions like @RobinhoodApp being openly bullish crypto & RWAs is a great sign to encourage more sidelined capital to allocate + forcing crypto native teams to be more on the ball w/ their strategies for growing the entire pie

people love to talk about crypto/btc underperforming stocks fo x years during a bear market low, and use it to say its not worth holding well no shit the point is to play the cyclical nature of crypto and we're clearly entering/are in deep value vs SPX, buying here or 20-30% lower won't make a world of difference right now, if you're in stock indices you should be looking to allocate to crypto, not the other way round because of FOMO (even if you think crypto has 'failed', we won't see a TKO. The liquidity, infra, mindshare is there, even an underwhelming cycle will return well in SPY terms)
