You’re exactly right! And that is exactly what the Pro version of CodeGraph aims to solve. It does intelligent impact scope analysis, business logic compromises, blast radius, QA checklists, it tells you exactly what “could be broken” and to test it to make sure it’s not. I’m sure many will feed this valuable context back into their agent, which is totally fine. But that extra layer of confidence is worth every penny when you don’t know what’s going on under the hood.

One of the biggest paint points with agentic development is the disconnect between the code and the engineer. You ask Claude to create feature X but it breaks feature Y and Z without you ever realizing it because you never thought it would or thought you’d need to test it. Understanding all of the code an agent generates is pretty laborious as well to even guess at that sort of thing. Now on every new feature you’re testing an entire application. This ramps up QA costs and allocation of resources for a company or an individual. What if this bugfix or feature PR breaks business logic? We aim to solve that in our own way. Which we think many of our current users will fall in love with, the same way they did CodeGraph. It’ll be effortlessly simple to use and work with. Providing real value to you or your company immediately.
