Rarely do I do pull-ups for training the most ill do is a few to warm up before climbing otherwise I’ll train dead hangs single and double arm and added weight For climbing it provides far more gains the pull-ups. At least for me The other thing I’ll train is max pulling force on various holds with feet on the ground and weighted down for a 10 seconds pulling at max But I agree for a non climber being able to do pull-up are a vital and a great daily exercise its base line benchmark everyone should maintain.

Oh man that’s sad I’ve lost so many friends to this lifestyle and I’m still not sure on my take on the whole thing but I do miss them alot… I lost another friend a few weeks ago from Squamish and it just never gets easier I never met Andy but we had many mutual friends and I know he will be missed RIP Andy
