Do "optimised prompts" really make a difference to ChatGPT responses? 🤔 Not all prompts are created equal when interacting with ChatGPT. The way you phrase your initial prompt can have a big impact on the quality and usefulness of ChatGPT's response. This has led to hundreds of influencers in the AI space releasing their "Top 100 Prompts for ChatGPT"...for a small fee of course. But do these optimised prompts really make a difference? After testing some of these so-called optimised prompts from various sources, we've found the results to be hit or miss 😕 Some of the prompts do yield more detailed, high-quality responses from ChatGPT. However, many of the prompts are overly engineered and complex without much tangible benefit over a simpler prompt. The key seems to be finding the right balance - not overly basic, but also not overly engineered. Providing some guiding context and instructions helps, but going overboard can confuse rather than clarify 😀 We'll be dropping a new video this week showing you the results of our recent experimentation to get to the bottom of optimal prompting. The early takeaway is that prompt quality matters, but the most effective prompts are focused, natural and provide just enough guidance to get ChatGPT started in the right direction. The art of prompting is likely to evolve rapidly as we all get more familiar with ChatGPT's capabilities. For now, restraint and simplicity seem to be winning principles. ChatGPT can now see, hear, and speak 👀 👂 🗣 Big changes are coming to OpenAI's ChatGPT that will transform how users interact with the AI system. 😆 The most exciting update is the addition of voice capabilities. Now you'll be able to tap a button, ask ChatGPT a question aloud, and receive an audible answer spoken back to you. It's an incredibly natural way to converse with the AI. 📷 ChatGPT will also now accept image uploads. Take a picture of an object you have a question about, upload it, and ChatGPT will do its best to understand and provide useful information. You can even draw images or continue to type/speak to refine the query. While these features showcase the rapid advances in AI, they also come with some risks if used irresponsibly. To mitigate this, OpenAI plans to control and restrict access initially. Most importantly, ChatGPT won't directly analyse images of people. Paying users will get access to voice and image abilities in the next two weeks. After that, OpenAI plans to roll it out more broadly.
