My biggest issue with digital circus isn't the fact that " a lot of essential lore was left out of the show" but rather the inverse. There were a lot of things that hold no relevance to the plot. Example, what does Jax being a closeted trans woman have to do with anything?

@Scoobie3311 @34fuckubaby This philosophy goes all the way back to season 2. All the episodes were pitched as 11-minutes but John (wanting to keep on the promised 20 half hour shows) started fucking with the timing on some of the shows. This almost ruined episodes like Sven Hoek and Fake Dad.

@Scoobie3311 @34fuckubaby A big reason so many episodes are so bloated it was because they were originally written to be 11 minutes for the first two seasons but in a classic John K move, he tried stretching the stories to fit a half hour show by making the timing unbearably bloated.

I feel like early 2010 cartoon reviewers and fans have made this infamous for the wrong reasons. The problem with APC isn't that it's "too gross" or that it's "the worst thing ever made". The problem with APC, is that it's painfully bloated and unfunny.
