@PTPintcast @APTAtweets @UkohaDPT Relationships and mentorship would go along way for students IMO. I don’t think it’s a lot to ask people, doesn’t take much time especially if there was a structure to help facilitate it all.

@PTPintcast @APTAtweets @UkohaDPT Show up at their school to talk with them, build out intimate mentorship programs, ask what they need and build it, they will come. Students just need to be guided within APTA, there are so many resources for them already they just need to know how to connect.

They ask questions, leadership invests time and effort into making personal relationships with students, hold multiple annual events for students and leadership shows up, they involve students within their component on multiple levels.

More than having a student position in their section but rather go to schools show student why they should buy in and help them find their place.
