I don't think it was so much of a "party" 250 years ago as much as it was a WAR. A Revolutionary WAR was happening. It continued until 1783 when the British finally negotiated their loss. Then I suspect a massive party was in order. Meanwhile, most who signed the Declaration of Independence and their families were hunted & suffered great loss. Hardly a party

Then why was Donald Trump a NO-SHOW at the recent U.S Rededication to God ceremony? Trump couldn't even be bothered to attend. He only gave a two-minute pre-recorded reading from the Bible. No comments. No words. We've seen him have longer conversations with a McDonalds employee. God shows up for Trump but Trump couldn't show up to support God at the rededication. But Faith in God is a White House priority?? When? Where?

I've been shocked & disgusted at how they've altered written works from long ago. I've written a book. As an author, I'd roll over in my grave & haunt anyone who dared to try & change my written published words after I'm gone. What right does anyone have to alter one's written & published works? Not even Dr. Seuss or Charles Dickens was safe from being edited!

Had anyone at the White House or Congress READ ALOUD the Declaration of Independence on the 250th anniversary of its signing, perhaps more people nationwide & worldwide would've heard what the Declaration of Independence states. Unfortunately, nobody is Washington DC thought to read it aloud. But they had fireworks to celebrate something🙄

Not even freezing temps, snow, ice, or a sacred holiday stopped George Washington and his troops from crossing the frozen Delaware River on Christmas Day to defeat the Hessians. All the fireworks on earth producing the most spectacular show don't hold a candle in comparison to the sacrifices of those who fought a Revolutionary War against the British Empire to secure a free & independent nation. And my work is featured in museums & Halls of Fame. Surely you know those Rx drugs have Dec 13, 2006 expanded FDA Black Box Warnings of SUICIDAL drug effects for ppl under 25, right? Has your grandson even had a Stool Test to check for parasites? Honestly, I would've preferred to hear the President of the United States read aloud to the public, on camera, the Declaration of Independence in its ENTIRETY (like JFK did). It only takes about ten minutes to read. Trump could've & should've read the Declaration of Independence on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Disappointing he did not.

Over? The party is just beginning. They didn't 't just sign the Declaration of Independence and everything ended. On the contrary! The war continued on! The Colonies then signed on to become states! A LOT happened after the signing of the Declaration. The July 4th 250th signing anniversary is just the beginning.

Black, White, and Native Tribes all fought together to defeat the British and form the United States. The Declaration of Independence recognizes HUMAN RIGHTS given by God. Perhaps the prejudice man should read the Declaration in full before exposing himself as a racist prick
