You were supposed to walk the storm with me. I willingly did it with you (for you) many times. Even when instinct told me not to. Yet I went through with you through the hurricane, with hands held together. When it was my turn, you ran away without a thought. Leaving me alone.
Even if you caused my misery, I’m happy that you’re happy.
All these joys and no one to feel them with.
All these successes and no one to share them with.
Why does my heart still cling to you even after all the hurt you inflicted on it?
Or no one I prefer to is unoccupied enough to receive it.
I’ve got all of this love but no one to receive it.
i’ve got all of this space to fill all this rage and i’ll mother it back to a kinder state
Waiting sucks, especially if the path ahead is filled with doubts, uncertainties and obstacles.
Some days I get by just fine with few of them spent breaking here and there overthinking over-worrying, calculating, estimating unable to sleep unable to dream unable to fall deep into slumber unless I’m certain, sure, without a doubt that you’ll be there ready to be with me
Lucky are those who are nearby their friends in this time where the norm is to isolate.
All I can do now is wait, hope, endure and experience the passing of days wishing it went by faster and finally wake up on the day I get to see you once more
