ND Gov Doug Burgum, who endorsed Trump today, previously said he would never do business with Trump because you are judged by the company you keep. Now he wants him to run the country though.

@Craybay_27 This year's @NHLJets squad is really giving me the same level of satisfaction as the old WHA champs and the Hawerchuk era teams. The best Jets teams had some amazing stars but also had the rest of the roster packed with important skills that the big scorers didn't have.

@Wpgtjross A few weeks ago the TCM movie channel showed Paper Lion, the movie where Alan Alda as writer George Plimpton tries to get thru Lions camp as QB. The real-life Lions of the early 60s in the movie had a winning confidence. Weird to see it now.

@Dejan_Kovacevic Thank you keeping this issue front and center, Dejan! A salary cap/floor would actually give MLB teams relevance in ALL the markets, helping propel the league back towards being the organization which was more profitable and popular than the NFL in the 1960s and 1970s.

@EricHawerchuk @NHLJets I think the reason Ehlers is my favourite current Jet is that, for me as an older fan, his skating and style of play reminds me of the inventive, fast-paced hockey the franchise was world-famous for in the 70s and 80s.

.@TheBeatWithAri Based on the Trump gag order defense I assume the Trump lawyers would be totally okay if a third party supporting the DoJ published Trump lawyers' home addresses, family pictures, and children's schools. Essentially that's the road Trump has been on.

.@JamesGunn Cudos to @DCOfficial on the wonderful Blue Beetle film. Heart, humor, adventure, and canon all mixed perfectly. This film will be on my rewatch list for the rest of my life. I'll never understand why there wasn't any buzz for such a terrific work.

@mccaffreyr3 @MalcolmNance I just can't escape the feeling that just as the IDF forces get bogged down in Gaza, that will be the exact time that an second front invasion will come from Lebanon or Syria. Can Israeli forces handle that much or will USA troops have to intervene?

.@POTUS The Biden reelection campaign really needs to abandon their ineffectual "Bidenomics" message and pivot to a "I still feel your pain" message, acknowledging that Americans still feel economic pressure and what the Pres will do NEXT. Stop trying to change voters' opinions.

Now that Paul Stastny has officially announced his retirement, I think it would be an awesome event if @NHLJets were to do a retirement ceremony for him this season. Even though he didn't have long stints as a Jet he did elevate the team and created a special bond with Wpg city.
