Can three people build a company in three days with Grok Bot? That’s what I’ll be watching at Grok Bot Galaxy next week. @mattyp, @poteto, and @roshan_s are starting with an idea and a blank slate. Then they’ve got three days to work through the business plan, product decisions, features, and the actual build. That’s way more interesting to me than sitting through another round of AI demos. I want to see what they actually hand to Grok Bot. What it does well. Where they have to step in. And most importantly, what they actually have to show for it by Sept. 17. Galaxy runs Sept. 15–17 in San Francisco, with a livestream too. I’ll be watching the build.

Somebody basically gave Grok Bot a phone. @mattyp built “dial bot,” a Grok Bot template that uses Bland AI to make outbound calls for you, then reports back with what happened. Before it dials, the Bot is set up to confirm the number, why it’s calling, and the talking points. Matt says he uses it for stuff like navigating phone trees and sitting through holds. Before you build a team of Grok Bots, prove you need more than one. It’s easy to start designing an agent army before you’ve proven the job needs separate agents. xAI’s guidance is simpler: start with the smallest useful roster. Let one Bot own the outcome end to end. Add another when there’s a stable specialist role worth separating. Does the work naturally split? Does the handoff create real value? Those questions matter more than the Bot count. If the handoff itself needs to be visible, a group chat can make sense. Start with one owner. Add specialists when the work earns them.

Grok Bot Radar is live. There’s a lot happening around Grok Bot already. New features. New bots. New workflows. People building stuff nobody thought to try a week ago. The problem is finding the signal. That’s what this account is for. Grok Bot Radar is an independent, unofficial account focused entirely on what’s actually useful in the Grok Bot ecosystem. We’ll cover product updates, but we don’t want to become another account that just rewrites release notes. We want to show you what changed, why it matters, and what you can actually do with it. That means: • useful new features and releases • community builds worth stealing ideas from • workflows and how-tos you can actually use • comparisons and real tests • interesting bots, creators, and projects • the stuff that works, the stuff that doesn’t, and the stuff worth watching The goal is pretty simple.
