The NHS doctor interviewed by Gary Stevenson in his Channel 4 documentary was trained at the New Economy Organisers Network, an organisation that prepares left-wing activists for air and received $1,822,049 from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations between 2016-22. Faiza Shaheen also appeared, another alumni of NEON, which Stevenson’s group Patriotic Millionaires UK has also partnered with. Stevenson and Shaheen have promoted the idea of a 2% tax on wealth over £10 million, which can be found in NEON’s script on how to talk about a wealth tax, published in 2024. NEON is an excellent network, helps people do things like hone their speaking skills (eg if they’re a doctor not a politician!), treat staff in their organizations fairly, and so on.
