In recognition of Pretrial, Probation, and Parole Supervision Week, I am pleased to share a proclamation signed by Governor Abbott honoring the invaluable contributions made by probation professionals across the state. Your dedication to CSCD makes a difference in our county!
This photo was taken last week at the National Institute of Corrections offices in DC. Our leader, Dr. May was one of 5 exes the NIC selected from federal & state jurisdictions to help plan the technical asst training & resources they provide to probation across the U.S.
ATTENTION employees and clients: Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, Harris County CSCD offices will be closed Tuesday January 21st. All client office visits and assessment appointments will be rescheduled.

Here at CSCD we mourn the loss of Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Fernando Esqueda who tragically passed away after being shot while protecting our community. Esqueda was a member of the Violent Offender Task Force & assisted CSCD on several occasions. #RIP

The HC STAR Drug Court has a pen pal program located 7,421 mi. across the globe in Auckland, NZ. Judge Dianne Partridge, of North Shore District Court in Auckland, attended a STAR team staffing & Drug Court Docket 2gain insight into how best practices are utilized here in Texas.
