View of Cinderella Castle with the Rose Garden in the foreground at the Magic Kingdom. The Rose Garden was lost during the hub expansion during the mid 2010s. To me, this was quite the loss as it was always a nice area to disconnect from the park and just take in the area.

In this photo we take a look at the model for Sea Castle which was one of the finales that you could choose for the classic Epcot attraction, Horizons. At the time of filming, these were some of the largest models ever produced and had to be filmed in an airport hanger.
Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats, Adventureland , Magic Kingdom Opened in 1997, this remote controlled game let you control a miniature Jungle Cruise boat and sail through a number of obstacles. The game was closed in 2012.

Today we take a look at the 1975-1981 final scene of the Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom. In this version of the finale the scene began the family singing “The Best Time of Your Life” during the holiday season set in the 70s.
Construction of the Norway pavilion and Maelstrom (then called SeaVenture) facade along with the opening to the attraction which saw guests almost fall over the waterfall! The waterfall was closed when the attraction was converted to Frozen.

“Filming” of the fictional film, “Harbor Attack” as part of the preshow for the Backlot Studio Tour at Disney-MGM Studios. This show relied on volunteers from the audience to play several roles in this show and warning, you would get WET. Did you ever participate in this show?

While Maelstrom was in operation at the Norway pavilion in Epcot Center the waterfall on the outside of the attraction actually had an opening! You could see the ride vehicles almost fall back, back, over the falls! It was closed up for Frozen Ever After.
