Patrick Bateman says this before killing Paul Allen in the American Psycho remake

People hate Taylor Swift’s music because it challenges and forces them to slow down, digest and engage deeper with what they’re audibly consuming. Instant gratification is ruining our ability to fully appreciate music

"Non-Crime Hate Incidents" As a Scot you may have no interest in the politics of "protected groups" at all, but can still can be opposed to the new Hate Crime Law, entirely because of the creation of these secret databases to log "Non-Crime Hate Incidents". With NCHI you're not charged with a crime but a person who accuses you without any evidence at all, can have your name put on a Police watch list, which in turn can impact on your interactions with government agencies and employers. You won't know if you're on one of those databases This amounts to gathering data on the population in the attempt at creating "Pre-crime" profiles. The FM of Scotland has already said that the main function of the Hate Crime Law is 'gathering data'. Pre-crime databases like this are growing, and can be found in Holland and Canada. AI is used to create these profiles as in Holland, where the "Top600" app used by the police and state has gathered data on those families 'most likely to offend'. In Holland this amounted to racial and class profiling of families, and resulting stigmatisation. We have already seen that the PR launch of the Hate Crime law in Scotland involved 'class based profiling' - targeting working class men. So when the Scottish Govt say 'the bar is very high for Hate crime' remember that the bar is low for Non-Crime Hate Incidents. They are based upon the perception of the 'victim' rather than on objective facts. The building up databases of people accused of "Non-Crime Hate" is government and police over-reach. We need to pull the plug on this.
