AS A FMR RCMP (Ret'd), the criticism offered by @PierrePoilievre of RCMP senior management -- specifically Senior Executive -- was ⟨entirely justifiable⟩. As a Major Case Manager, I can say that the so-called SNC-Lavalin investigation can only be described as miserably inadequate and by any measure, cannot be considered a serious investigation. RCMP Commissioner DUHEME has continued with and doggedly maintained the RCMP decision to not open a Canadian criminal investigation into the downing of Flight PS752 and with it the murder of 55 Canadian citizens and 30 Permanent Residents. An Ontario Superior Court civil decision has ruled that their deaths were "intentional" and "an act of terrorism" which "constitutes “terrorist activity” under the SIA, the JVTA and the provisions of the Criminal Code" (Zarei v Iran, 2021 ONSC 3377) -- AND YET, @CommrRCMPGRC @rcmpgrcpolice continue to refuse to open a Canadian criminal investigation.
