I think this is the best way to protect the #2 at all times in palms. Have the corner play cougar tech, trap #2 if quick out to sink #1. But the diff from cougar is the safety swipes anything vertical (10+) from 2 to 1 so the #2 defender only has to wall and no carry (palms)

@seahawksownyou thats weird cause the pick looks like cut with true trap technique but the way the deuce techniques are described it makes it seem like quarters only vs 1 & 2 vertical.

@seahawksownyou actually the way you describe deuce would be CUT. I always thought of deuce as Palms with no hook in which case the apex gets under the branch route.
