If possible find out when they are coming and ensure you are out the house/environment in advance. The school nearby me had them starting at 7.45/8 am and I had to address it with them so they now start after 9. I know this isn't always possible but we can become proactive. x.com/doublecard/sta…

@HearingLips Just to say I found this information was so helpful. It's the very reason i set up my blogg. It was worded so simple to explain a difficult condition. I'm always try to explain Hyperacusis but forget to simply state it's Hearing Impairment. -Talking and listening very difficult.

@doublecard over the days/weeks you may be able to increase how long you tolerate having them in and hopefully you may begin to see the benefits..

@doublecard Greetings...within a couple of hours i felt the benefit however mobile phone ringtones still cause pain....it hasn't cured the anxiety part.
